Whilst at a Championship dog show in Birmingham, Carl came across another breed, which unknown to us at that time would totally dominate our lives. That breed was the "Akita".We both fell n love with them. We researched them and watched them at shows over the next year. We bought our first Akita in 1990.Since then we have bred Akitas using all the top lines available from the UK, USA and Canada. We have had tremendous success with our Akitas in the show ring. We have overseas Champions, CC winners, best in shows and best puppy in shows with 100s of first places. Our Akitas are now in the UK, Southern Ireland, France, Germany, USA, Cyprus, Malta, Spain , Dubai and Barbados.

We also have  top show line bred Shih Tzus. Another breed we have always admired. Our Shih Tzus  will be our long time future but we will always have a few Akitas.

JUDGING

We always get asked "Why dont we judge"

This is because we choose not to, due to lack of time due to other commitments.

However, having said that we are both fully qualified to judge Akitas and Cocker Spaniels. We have attended and passed MANY Kennel Club approved  breed seminars and judging assessments. As well as the Judging and the Assessments the Kennel Club also has a big list of other relevant Criteria that needs to be met before judging the breed. We both meet and far surpass all criteria. We may judge when we think the time is right.

We look forward to many more enjoyable years within the breed.
